Online Resources

This list was compiled by Shirley Biladeau from the Idaho Commission for Libraries. I haven't looked at all the links, but some of these tools seem like super-simple things you can bring into the classroom. And can I geek out on the History of the World link? The BBC and the British Museum joined forces for this project, which traces the history of the world through 100 objects that are currently housed in the BM. It's one of the most fascinating podcasts I've ever heard. The link given will take you to the BBC site, which links the podcast as well as a photo show to view the objects discussed. It's a fantastic resource, and a great way to get a peek at the treasures housed in the museum.
